Named for a rusted iron post.
We are a hop-forward, lager-loving brewery. Loud, bright IPAs and quiet, perfect lagers — brewed in small batches and poured cold in our Bend taproom.
Ironpost started in 2014 in a leaky warehouse off Division with one used 7-barrel system, a stubborn pilsner recipe, and a hand-painted sign. We were named for the rusted iron fence post that marked the lot — the only thing on the property worth keeping. A decade later we still chase the same two things: an IPA that smacks you with hops the second the glass hits the bar, and a lager so clean it disappears. Everything we pour is brewed three hundred feet from the tap.
We brew on a 15-barrel system in small batches, we lager our lagers as long as they need, and we put the beer in front of you while it’s still talking. We’re independent — no big-beer money, no shortcuts — and we intend to stay that way.

From grain to glass.
Mill & mash
We mill our own grain and mash in our 15-barrel brewhouse, pulling sweet wort from malt sourced as close to home as we can get it.
Boil & hop
The wort boils and we add hops — early for bitterness, late and generous for aroma. Our IPAs get a dry-hop charge or three after.
Ferment & lager
Yeast does the work in our cellar. Ales ferment warm and fast; lagers ferment cool and slow, then lager for weeks. No shortcuts.
Pour & package
Bright beer goes straight to the taproom 300 feet away, or into cans and crowlers the same week. Fresh is the whole point.
Who’s on the lines.

Cole Marsh
Founder & Head Brewer
Started Ironpost in a leaky warehouse in 2014 with one used system and a stubborn pilsner recipe. Still writes every flagship recipe and tastes every batch before it hits a tap.

Renata Díaz
Brewmaster · Lager Program
Runs the lager and barrel programs. The reason Golden Hour and Clear & Cold are as clean as they are — she will lager a beer for two extra weeks just to get it right.

Theo Walsh
Brewer · Hop Program
Owns the hazy and IPA side of the house. Drives to the Willamette Valley himself for the First Frost fresh-hop harvest every fall.

Priya Shah
Taproom Manager
Keeps the taproom humming, books the food trucks and the bands, and can pair any beer on the board with whatever truck is parked outside.
